Back in 2002 Acme Construction built one of the Central Valley’s first green buildings at CSUS in Turlock. It was a beautiful Facility Development Center built on the campus’ central pond. Since those days we have built several LEED Certified green buildings.
The new 31,422 sf administration center for Yosemite Community College District is LEED Platinum and we have constructed LEED Silver buildings for UC Merced and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District in Bakersfield.
At Acme’s main office we have been retrofitting our overhead lighting with LED fixtures to reduce our carbon footprint. Our staff is skilled in LEED construction and we understand its importance for our environment.
